The epitome of classic New England al fresco dining, The Lawn at Castle Hill is a timeless Newport icon. After decades of entertaining, the outdoor restaurant opens on Memorial Day 2013 refreshed and ready to once again be an oasis of relaxation and escape.

As part of the renovation, the Dining Room now opens to the expanded Sunset Terrace, comprised of three tiered terraces cascading down the hill, bedecked with New England bluestone tile, outfitted with luxury teak furniture and linen-canvas umbrellas, and lit for dining until 10 p.m. each evening. Here, guests can enjoy Chef Karsten Hart’s elegant fine dining menu while taking in panoramic views of the property’s verdant rolling lawn festooned with Adirondack chairs as well as wrap-around views of Newport harbor. In the capable hands of Executive Chef Karsten Hart, a meal at Castle Hill Restaurant is elevated to an unforgettable experience. Combining seasonal, locally sourced ingredients with culinary techniques from around the world, Chef Hart and his talented team create dishes that are inspired, delicious and beautifully presented.
